Arkansas State Parks are well known for their quality summer day camps. This week, children ages 7-10 will have personal encounters with the natural world through guided hikes, interactive talks, crafts and games. Roundtrip transportation is provided from the nearby town of Mena each day. Space is limited and reservations are required.

Where will the water you drink this morning be tomorrow? Do you know the five basic concepts of the water cycle? Meet Park Interpreter Flanary to finding these questions and embark on a journey of your own as a water molecule and see where you end up.

2:00 PM Snorkeling Adventure (1 Hour)
Snorkel the Cossatot River and observe the underwater life while enjoying the clean, clear, cool water. Snorkel equipment provided. Wear appropriate clothing for swimming. Minimum age is 6.

Bronc riding, bucking bulls calf scrambles, and calf roping ar just a few of the traditional features of this annual rodeo. There is also a Queen's Contest, parade, dance, the always funny rodeo clowns, and plenty of good food.

A Christmas Carol is a story of an old and bitter Ebeneezer Scrooge, who undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of one evening. Mr. Scrooge is a money-changer who has devoted his life to the accumulation of weatlh. He holds anything other than money in contempt, including friendship, love and the Christmas season.
